amyPROFESSOR AMY CAMPBELL RECEIVES DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD
Professor Amy Campbell, Director of the Institute for Health Law & Policy at the University of Memphis School of Law, was honored with the first Wexler/Winick Distinguished Service Award by the International Society for Therapeutic Jurisprudence. Additionally, she has been named as an inaugural board member of the International Society for Therapeutic Jurisprudence. Click here to read more about both accomplishments.
meredithFEDEX PROFESSOR OF LAW LEE HARRIS ON CONFEDERATE MONUMENT REMOVAL
Professor Lee Harris discusses the legal ramifications of the City of Memphis removing several Confederate statues from its public parks in a recent edition of the Commercial Appeal. Professor (and State of Tennessee Senator) Harris was the City Council member who wrote the council resolution two years ago calling for the removal of one of the statues as well. Click here to read the full article.

Memphis Law professor Katharine Traylor Schaffzin has been selected by the University of Memphis Faculty Senate to serve as the faculty representative on the inaugural Board of Trustees for the University of Memphis.
